Privacy Policy
Last updated October 3, 2026
The Laurel School ("Laurel," "we," or "us") respects the privacy of every family, visitor, and student. This policy explains what information we collect through thelaurelschool.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you submit an inquiry, RSVP for an event, sign up for The Hawkeye newsletter, or contact us by email or phone, you may share your name, email address, phone number, your child's name and grade, and anything you choose to write in a message. We use this information only to respond to you, schedule visits, share school news, and manage admissions.
Information collected automatically
Our website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand how pages are used. It records page views and general device and region information in aggregate and does not use cookies or track individual visitors across other sites. The accessibility widget stores your display preferences (such as text size or contrast) only in your own browser so they are remembered on your next visit.
Services we work with
Some features on this site are provided by trusted third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Formspree delivers inquiry and RSVP form submissions to our admissions inbox.
- Mailchimp manages The Hawkeye newsletter list. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- TADS handles applications, enrollment, and tuition; information you enter there is collected by TADS on our behalf.
- Givebutter processes donations. Laurel does not see or store your full payment card details.
- Ink1 operates the Hawk Spirit Wear store and processes those orders.
- YouTube may set cookies when you play an embedded video.
How we use and share information
We use the information you provide to communicate with you, process admissions and enrollment, and operate the school. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with the service providers above as needed to deliver those services, or when required by law.
Children's privacy
Our website is written for parents and guardians, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Information about enrolled students is collected through the admissions and enrollment process and is handled according to our school policies and the TADS privacy policy.
Photos and video
Photos and video of students appear on this site and on our social media only with a signed media release on file. Families may withdraw permission at any time by contacting the school.
Your choices
You may ask us to update or delete the information you have shared, unsubscribe from The Hawkeye using the link in any issue, and decline to submit any form. Email learn@thelaurelschool.org with any request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website and services change. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
